Come along for a feast of stories and meet the crème de la crème of all storytellers, our very own Liz Weir resident storyteller with Libraries NI thanks to the Peg and Jim Armstrong bursary and Intercultural storyteller Jan Blake. From potato bread to popadoms listen to stories from around the globe taking you on a culinary delight and providing you with barrels of laughs. Introduce children to the joy of sharing and telling stories during this family event for Culture Night Belfast 2016.
Liz Weir has told her stories to people of all ages on five continents. She has performed in pubs and prisons and hospital rooms. She worked on stages in the mighty Vanderbilt Hall of New York's Grand Central Station and in the Royal Albert Hall.
Jan Blake is one of the leading storytellers performing worldwide for over twenty five years. Specialising in stories from Africa, the Caribbean and Arabia she has a well-earned reputation for dynamic and generous storytelling.
