September 16th. Put it in your diaries. Culture Night is back again for its 8th year!
Before that however, we need a little help.
Volunteers are major part of Culture Night. They help us achieve the safe friendly atmosphere that makes people feel relaxed and enjoy what’s on offer. Last year over 65,000 people took to the streets of our city for over 250 free events. For 2016 we've really pushed the boat out and expect even more for this year! Because of this, the need for keen and enthusiastic people, with a passion for promoting the cultural and artistic beauty this city has to offer, has never been greater. We’re looking for volunteers to not only take part in the biggest night of the year but to help us deliver something special that all of Belfast can be proud.
Volunteering with us isn't a job. We want you to get as much out of taking part as we will from you being there. When planning Culture Night we split the city into 10 areas with their own theme and genre of events taking place. So if you like dance and theatre but not so keen on rave music (or perhaps it's the other way round) we try and ensure our volunteers are matched to something they enjoy.
If you think you’d be interested in taking part, please fill out the online volunteer form and come along to one of our briefing sessions held at 6pm on the 6th and 8th September 2016 in our offices at the Cathedral Quarter Management Workspace on 109-113 Royal Avenue.
